Yes! Mamas aren't allowed to leave, EVER. She is so happy when I come back, and when my husband comes home from work. Her whole self just glows with joy.

Definitely! I left her overnight for the first time recently and she went nuts in the morning when I went home. Her little face makes me anxious to get home to her. She's so sweet.

She does the same to DH. She gets all excited every night when he gets home from work.

Yes, she lights up! DH dropped her off this morning and forgot her lunch. He picked it up and went back to daycare. She was so excited to see him and she cried hysterically when he left without her!

Definitely for DH! I don't leave him very often, but when I do he is generally excited but not nearly as much as for DH. In fact he's been a little spoiled as DH has only had to work until 7-8pm the last two weeks so he's been home for bedtime... tonight he actually wouldn't go to bed and I think it was cause DH wasn't here... oh boy... DH starts his nights again next week :-/

She does, but not nearly as much as she does for DH. I love watching her face light up and hearing her grunt as she tries to get to me.

Charlie used to! Then he stopped for a while... until recently, when he started again!

Olive perks up a bit when she sees me, but she doesn't go bananas yet. Sometimes she does in the morning though, and her smile lights up my life!

Honestly, nothing is better than having someone excited to see you home. It's one of the top perks of having kids! Although now that I think about it, having a dog is pretty similar actually. But kids generally slobber less.

In any case, both kids and dogs are awesome at getting super excited when you walk through the door. I love it!
