I don't leave him very often, but when I do he is generally excited but not nearly as much as for DH. In fact he's been a little spoiled as DH has only had to work until 7-8pm the last two weeks so he's been home for bedtime... tonight he actually wouldn't go to bed and I think it was cause DH wasn't here... oh boy... Then he stopped for a while... until recently, when he started again!</p> <p>Olive perks up a bit when she sees me, but she doesn't go bananas yet. Sometimes she does in the morning though, and her smile lights up my life!</p> <p>Honestly, nothing is better than having someone excited to see you home. It's one of the top perks of having kids! Although now that I think about it, having a dog is pretty similar actually. But kids generally slobber less. </p> <p>In any case, both kids and dogs are awesome at getting super excited when you walk through the door. I love it!</p> <p>When you walk through the door, does your LO light up? </p>
