I was in crazy mode cleaning the house, literally from the ceiling down. I had zero contractions (though I was dilated quite a bit), and didn't lose my plug or anything. By 38 weeks I went into labor after my water broke.

I was very swollen, very achy, everything hurt, couldn't sleep well because of discomfort and carpal tunnel, but tried my best to not look miserable! I had zero symptoms of labor - no contractions, didn't lose mucous plug, barely a cm dilated. I ended up with an elective c section at 39 weeks because of my son's size. I'm positive I would have gone past my due date!

I was tired and sore and uncomfortable. I also was nesting like crazy. I was already 3 cm dilate and had regular BH but didn't go into labour until 39+5. Plus it was August and I was soooooooo hot! Those last couple of weeks weren't amazing but you're almost there.

I felt really good. Too good. I had trouble sleeping, but that seems par for the course. I was mostly worried that Flipper wasn't doing anything to prepare for heading out. My suspicions turned out to be correct. He all but held up a picket sign and chanted "Hell no, I won't go!"

I had pretty serious anxiety around that time. Worried about random little things that hadn't gotten done yet. Physically I had a lot of pain when I was sleeping. But, I was still pregnant for 4-5 more weeks after that. UGH.

I never experienced BH never the less real contractions! Which also means I didn't lose my plug yet. I felt tired, but was okay overall. I was induced at 37 weeks due to IUGR, they broke my water and the induction caused me to lose my plug. I think I lost it 4 hours after induction began.

How did you feel? I felt HUGE, but overall pretty good. Hips were sore and I peed a lot, but no real issues despite having GD.

Were you feeling lots of contractions? I never had any Braxton hicks, and was actually was just asked today by my friend who's 37 weeks pregnant how I knew contractions were enough to head to the hospital, and realized I never had ANY contractions outside of the hospital!

If so, did you go into labor before your due date? Yep, born at 38w2d.

Had you lost your plug? I think so. I had bloody show and I think my mucus plug about 30 minutes before my water broke.

Were you sore? Sluggish? Queasy? Or, were you one of those lucky gals who had a burst of energy and you ran around like a crazy woman cleaning your house and nesting? I was in vacation mode! I saved holidays before starting my maternity leave and was getting pedicures, my hair done, shopping leisurely, prepping food for the freezer and hanging out around my family's pool for 5 days before she was born.

Did how you feel around this time have any indication on when you went into labor? (i.e. could you feel labor "coming on" in a sense?) I definitely had the nesting instinct, but I'm not sure that it was ramped up more than it would have been if she'd come on time. I was actually pretty chill. I'd had a cervical exam the day prior and was told that I was not dilated or effaced and to expect to go overdue.

ETA: Share when you went into labor! My water broke at 930 pm, and I went in the hospital to check that everything was still ok. They wanted to monitor me over night and see if anything happened, and I started having contractions around 3 am. Barely any early labour, and was in full hard labour by 4am and she was born at 11am.

37 weeks was when misery hit for me- we started my school break when I hit that milestone, so I was fine with him coming any time... he took two more weeks. I remember being so uncomfortable at my work Christmas party, thought I was going into labor. BH contractions like crazy, migraines almost daily, I walked and walked trying to walk him out every chance I got.

Once I hit 39 weeks I decided I just couldn't handle my work commute any more and told them I was going on leave- my water broke the next day.

ETA- I never nested. Total myth for me!

I actually felt totally normal all the way up until my due date. No contractions (that I was aware of without the monitor,) no aches and pains, not tired. I had to be induced on my due date due to pregnancy hypertension but if that wasn't the case I'm sure I would have been overdue by at least a week.

I feel like he is about to drop right our of my girly bits even though the chances of that are slim. Did have this either previous pregnancy so I hope that means he will be here soon (but AFTER SUnday as our hospital here doesn't have a NICU so I would have to deliver at an unfamiliar hospital (not the end of the world but not how I want it to happen this late in the game)

I think I pretty much did everything the same. Just tried to get everything in order as much as I could. I went shopping in the afternoon after my OB appt. Went into labor that night. I was having some sciatica issues for awhile and BHs. I wasn't even really sure I was in labor for over an hour. 3 days early.

I was very uncomfortable, having contractions, swelling, and hip pain, and so ready to be done with pregnancy. But I was also super busy with a very important presentation at work and my baby shower, both occurring at 38 weeks. (Baby shower was held late due to the host needing to recover from surgery... a pretty good excuse lol  ) I ended up being induced at 41 weeks. Baby just wasn't coming on her own.

I was a mom! I had B at 37 + 2.

I lost my mucus plug a week prior. At my wellness visit 3 days before I went into labor I was 80% effaced and 2 cm dilated. The doc said I'd have a few more weeks and assured my DH he would be fine to go on a business trip across the country! Luckily, I went into labor the day before he was supposed to leave.

I felt incredibly tired and uncomfortable at that point. It was summer so if someone as much as opened the door I'd swell up like the Michelin man. I don't remember my vag hurting though!

I was tired and huge, I'd been having BH forever, some painful. my carpal tunnel and swelling had gotten really bad and I was ready to be done, but expecting to go overdue.

I had zero indications about labor (I went to work the morning labor started because I figured it was just more discomfort). in retrospect the extreme discomfort of the night before was probably the start of back labor but it could as easily have been nothing.
I had her one day before my due date. I only saw bloody show type stuff once I was in labor. I refused internals at the OB so no idea about dilation etc.

I was tired, definitely over being pregnant but I think I still had lots of energy? I was still able to walk (ok, waddle) a fair distance. At that point lo's movements hurt more because she had run out of room to stretch, and I felt the pressure of her head down low. I ended up being induced at 38+5. No idea how I would have felt if I stayed pregnant until I went into labor myself. Oh and had no contractions, no bloody show or anything at that point.

I felt like a big pile of ache. I could barely move without pain the last few weeks. I never got any bursts of energy or last-minute nesting. I was queasy and miserable.

Sporadic contractions, but nothing that ever lasted more than an hour or two. I went into labor a few days before my due date (39w4d). I lost a chunk of my plug at 37 weeks and the bulk of it about a day and a half before I went into labor.

I was positive I was going to go late. I never had any real sense that I was going to go into labor until I was in early labor, and even then I was convinced it wasn't the real thing (even after I got sent home from the hospital in early labor (that was actually active labor)).

Right at 38 weeks contractions started for me. Unfortunately they weren't as productive as we would have liked and I was in early labor for a week before I was finally induced. I had already lost most of my plug, waters were still intact but I was having for real contractions. Sometimes every 5 minutes, sometimes every couple hours. Before that I don't really remember feeling any different though.

I was miserable from week 33-36 because I was sick and coughing (and leaking pee) a lot. I felt pretty good after that at 37-39 weeks but I had trouble falling asleep!
