Oh, she gets spoiled. I do the same thing - I nurse her to sleep when normally I wouldn't even consider it. I think of it as a bedtime snack. It's hard to not do this, they're so pitiful when they're sick!!

I'm nervous about this. We finally took him to the ER last night and turns out his regular case of RSV that is going around caused him to lose a pound and irritate his lungs (bronchiolitis). He needs to held pretty much 24/7 so he is super spoiled right now.
I am afraid of sleep training again but really just want him heathly again. DH and I decided that Dec 21 is our start date for re-sleep training if need be.

I think LO is sick for the first time today (I was kind of expecting it though since I was sick last week). He's got a stuffy nose, some weezy breathing and a little cough :(

I'm giving him lots of boob time & snuggles.

I let her watch a lot of TV! Luckily, her sleep has never been affected by being sick, though.

I spoil her so much more! I give her her favorite snacks and her favorite foods, I'll let her have juice when I normally never do... and go into her room at every little sound to make sure she's ok.

I spoil DS more when he is sick. I let him watch a bit more TV or shows on my phone. I will hold him more until he falls asleep or at least goes into his crib without fussing. I also will "bribe" him with a show on my phone to get through diaper/clothing changes without crying. I really try to keep him from getting too upset when he is sick.

Olive had a fever before bed last night, so I gave her some advil. She slept through the night, but woke up in the morning with a low-grade fever (100.5). She was a little fussy, but fine the rest of the day with no fever.

But... she fought both naps and I had to nurse her down when she usually goes into the crib awake. I JUST sleep trained her and night weaned her the past week, so I don't want all my hard work to go out the window! But she keeps getting sick, and I am much more lenient when she's sick! I can't let her cry!

She's been sleeping for the past 5 1/2 hours so I pray that she sleeps through the night because I don't want to undo her night training! Naps I know we can get her back on track pretty easily because we've done it before.

How much do you spoil your little ones when they're sick? Does their sleep usually get off track when they're sick?
