I know it sounds silly but they usually look for your reaction. So if you react like it hurt then they cry more. Mind you if they fell really hard and it hurt we always give big hugs too. Then I ask him if he wants me to kiss it. He usually says "yes", and then I kiss his booboo. Sometimes his booboo is on his foot and I have to kiss those bad boys... but that is the price I pay for asking the question!</p> <p>The other thing that works is giving Charlie a snack or gummi bear.
