It's a mixture, right now she will say "I'm mad" with an over-exaggerated pout and arms crossed her body (like out of a sitcom really) and it's so hard not to laugh at her. When she hears no most of the time she breaks out into a mad cry saying "but I want it!"

Same... Wagon Jr. gets angry and LMW gets sad. I was going to post a question about what to do with ragey kids! WJ's rage is getting to the point where I actually taught him yesterday what "meh-meh" (spanking) is (didn't actually do it or threaten him with it, just explained the premise!). I wasn't sure I wanted to spank my kids but I feel like I'm heading there. When he gets into red zone there is just nothing that will get him out of it, and I have so little patience for it! :(

Angry! Frustrated! Mad! Upset!

Those are all words she uses. Sometimes there's stomping and kicking of the couch.

Both...he babble-screams while waving his finger around at me, then he throws himself down onto the ground and sobs. It's quite overly dramatic.

When our kids get upset, our son gets angry and our daughter gets sad. I prefer the sadness, even if it breaks my heart to see her crying! Tears are easier than anger though.

When your LO gets upset, do they get angry or do they get sad? Or do they go to another emotion entirely...
