Yes! I check her every night, but I worry the most when she has a fever or after she gets shots. Will probably do this until she goes to college :silly:

No. I used to worry sick too, but our doctor said one very crucial piece of info that made me lose all my worries. He said that if he got a really high fever (102 and above) and if it does get out of hand/need medication, it will be very uncomfortable for him, and he probably can not sleep through it and would probably wake up and cry/call for you. It wouldn't go directly to not breathing. Which is pretty true.

Surprisingly not, considering I worry about a lot of things lol. Fevers just don't really freak me out that much. Granted my daughter has never had a fever higher than high 102s. If it was like 104 I might be more worried.

...do you watch them while they sleep, and make sure they are still breathing?

I don't know why I do this, but I do it every time. I also am pretty good at convincing myself that they're not breathing, and then being relieved when I realize that they actually are!

My daughter has a fever and a headache right now and we're both really worried about her. I keep staring at her chest to make sure it's moving, and then closing my eyes to listen to her breathing.
