My LO will hold her pee for hours. We fight with her to get her to go to the bathroom. She is afraid of most toilets when we are out, so even if we find a restroom, chances are she's going to be afraid of their toilet, so we wait until we get home or are at a friend's house.

At almost 4, I still scramble to get to a bathroom. In most situations I am able to tell ahead of time and suggest going beforehand. If I don't pay attention, then it's a mad dash for the bathroom.

We're struggling here too, I resort to pull-ups. She is scared to death of public restrooms, like full on screaming, shaking, almost hyperventilating. I almost can't even take her in one to wash her hands. Anywhere else we have 10-15 minutes, she'll hold it to avoid a public restroom.

This is something we are struggling with. It's usually too late by the time he has told me. I have some sort of 6th sense and I know when he needs to pee. But if I happen to miss it (like he's playing at the playground and I'm chasing around LO2), it means trouble since he won't tell me until the last possible second.

I've never tried pushing it past 10 -15 mins. Often when we are out she doesn't have to go A LOT though - I think it's more curious its about the bathroom. She generally is all talk and very little tinkle :) :)

How much time do you have before you start worrying about accidents?

LO is 3 and she can hold it 10-15 minutes before she gets antsy. I hated the early stages when I had to scramble to get her to a restroom ASAP! :-p
