@mediagirl: That could be true. Yesterday I drank about 12 glasses of water. I wasn't getting enough. My body telling me to hydrate probably.

I don't have experience with this but I bet you are just fine. It sounds like you hadn't gained much to begin with and you only went down a few pounds. I bet as soon as you get yourself hydrated and eating normally again, the weight will come back. When not pregnant, I found a lot of weight was lost when sick due to being dehydrated.

This past weekend I was sick like a dog, I threw up on several occasions and seeing my stomach was so upset I barely ate anything all of saturday. Then I remembered I was pregnant and knew the no-eating wouldn't be good.

I ate a banana and still didn't feel great. I went to bed and luckily by the next morning I felt great. No more nausea from my stomach flu! Sure I still had a weak stomach so I didn't want to go on a full out bing... but I ate. Fruits and veggies, sandwiches, cake (it was my nieces birthday) and I felt great.

At night I came home and decided I should weigh myself. I always do so naked in the morning, but figured I would test it anyway. Well the balance said a number I was surprised, I lost 4.5 lbs. and thats 2.4 lbs more than what I weighed when I got pregnant! (and I'm currently 18 weeks along)

When you're sick (flu or other) did you lose weight? Did it come back? Were you worried? I know it can't be a good thing, but baby is moving and this morning I checked and I gained 1 lb back so I'm sure I'll be okay. But I mean, I weigh less than what I weighed pre-baby. that's some scary stuff.
