We always end up sleeping together. Neither of us ever seems to catch what the other has! We don't have a guest bedroom or anything, so it's just pretty much the preference of the well person whether they want to go sleep on the couch... and I'd never choose that over bed, so I just gamble and stay ;)

My husband will typically sleep on the couch if either of us is sick. When he's sick it's because he doesn't want me to catch it and if I'm sick it's because he wants me to be able to spread out and be comfortable. Sleeping apart isn't that really a big deal to us because 75% of the time he's working when I'm sleeping.

We still sleep together. I figure we're so close in proximity when we're home together, if I'm gonna catch it, I'll catch it regardless of whether he's in bed or not. I do avoid kissing him on the mouth or sharing utensils though.

I guess DH missed me too cuz he woke me from the couch to go sleep in the room with him last night! But he won;t kiss me on the mouth when he's sick too. :)

We sleep together, but we don't kiss on the mouth and we use separate towels. If I were pregnant and not able to take meds, I think I might banish myself to the guest room!

We usually sleep together and thankfully DH hasn't been sick since I've been pregnant (knock on wood). Prior to bfp though, I'd make extra precaution the few times I was sick because DH ALWAYS got sick from me. I've been lucky enough never to have caught anything he's had though

Poor husband got sick on our recent trip - I guess he probably caught something on the plane. We obviously didn't stay apart on our trip and we flew home and have been acting normally since we got home. I haven't gotten sick at all! He usually gets sick if I do but I rarely get sick from him, even in pregnancy I guess. If he had the flu or anything with vomiting, we'd probably sleep apart just because I'm pregnant but not otherwise.

We sleep apart often anyways so we sleep apart. I don't mind sleeping near him when he is sick but if his stomach is upset I steer clear.

If we have colds we sleep together. But last year DH had such a bad flu that I slept on the couch. I didn't want to end up with both of us sick, and unable to take care of LO. Or even worse all 3 of us ended up with it. I made him stay quarantined in our room and he ended up being the only one that got sick.

We slept together. But we made sure to keep far apart, no kisses, different hand towels, etc. We do that when I'm not pregnant if one of us is sick too though.

DH had a really bad cold awhile ago, and I always banish him or I to the guest bedroom. I don't mind if it helps one of us stay healthy. And he encourages it because he would feel really bad if he got me sick! He snores when he's sick so I can't sleep well, anyways

So DH came home early last night because he was feeling feverish and sick. When I am sick, he always still sleeps in bed with me. But since I'm pregnant (and had the worst bronchitis/tonsillitis for almost 6 weeks at the beginning of pregnancy), he was worried about me getting sick from him.
We have a guest bedroom, but I just ended up sleeping on the sofa. Still, I feel weird not sleeping in the same bed, but I don't want to get sick either. :/

What do you and your partner/spouse do when one of you is sick? Sleep together still or apart?
