I don't even know how we'd begin to set a budget for groceries because we eat healthy and buy good stuff, and none of it is cheap! I try to buy some meats on sale (i picked up filet mignon for $7.99/lb last week and froze it!!!) but it's hard! We don't eat out that often, though. Blah. We have too many "can't get rid of that" items that are technically luxuries. Getting back to meal planning and sale stockpiling has helped. Eating out is easier now that we've moved to an area with fewer restaurants there's less temptation.
