@T-Mom: I know! Our guy is tall even though DH & I aren't. There is like one tall aunt/uncle on each of our sides and amazingly enough, those genes caught our LO.

@TurtleDoves: Actually, he's average height (50%)! I think I just have a little guy overall. Meanwhile his sister is a gigantor. It's strange how the genes get distributed!

He ballooned for the first 4 months. He doubled his birthweight at 10 weeks and tripled it by 5 months. It slowed at 5.5-6 months where he seemed to lean out a bit. He's still got lots of baby chubs now at 10.5 months but he's definitely not growing as fast.

He gained 2 lbs a month during the first 2 months. Then a pound a month thereafter until 7 months. He's 8 months and hasn't been weighed since 7 months, so I'm not sure if his gain has slowed since then, but I don't think it has, I think he's still gainnig at the pace of a pound a month.

I feel like A is constantly growing. She has already more then doubled her birth weight at 14 weeks. She is in 6-9 month clothing which fits her perfect right now :(. I'm also curious to know when her growth will slow down a bit.

It seems like DD slowed down her weight gain at around 6 months.

@autumnlove: I'm actually hoping he doesn't have a spurt! My supply is so low due to a breast tissue issue and y doctor says my supply is not going up despite all efforts. So, I'm terrified for the day when LO's intake moves up. But then again maybe he will start solids by then anyways:)

@T-Mom: thanks! Do you have a tall little guy? :)

My DS stayed at the 50% weight percentile until about 6 months, when he dropped to about 10% where he has stayed. Every few months he stretches and thins out, and then plumps up a little. I can't remember exactly what those times were, they kind of just happen, and one day you look at them and realize, wow, you have really grown!
ETA: DS started solids at 6 mo when his weight dipped, but ate really well.

@TurtleDoves: Sounds like he is right on track. I'm sure he will hit a spurt soon! :-)

My LO's weight gain slowed around 8 months. She weighed 18.5 lbs and at almost 13 months she weighs almost 21 lbs.

My LO has been consuming 24oz since he was 6w old.

He was 60% for weight at 8w.
He hasn't change any in his eating other than instead of 6-4oz feedings he is now doing more like 5-5oz feedings (usually not finishing his first AM bottle before going down for his 1st nap).

I am not at all worried because he is still a good sized baby and developmentally on schedule, but just wondering!

When did your LO grow the most? the least? Was there ever a time that your LO just looked his he or she wasn't really changing?

*he's been in 0-3 since 7w and still has room to grow. So, clearly his growth wasn't *that* substantial since then.
