27 months for us.
Used a modified 3 day method. We went to undies all day but her cloth diaper at night and naps for a little while. She got going pee right away. Twosies took a little longer. About a few weeks in we ditched the diapers totally and at night we would wake her up on our way to bed to do a late night potty break.

In the past couple weeks DS kept saying "poop" so I would just sit him on the potty and he would go. When I get back from vacation in July, we're going to do 3-day method. I have several friends who all had success with it...he'll be 22 months.

We didn't do the three day method, instead, we did the timed approach, where you go and sit on the toilet at certain intervals. I like this method because it helped my son to understand that if he felt it coming, he could go when he needed to, in addition to having the set time.

The key for us was absolutely NOT to use pull ups.

We used Jamie Glowacki's approach but really I'd start with setting up a meeting with your daycare and hear from them how they are doing it so you can see if that is something you can carry through at home or not. See what they say other families have had success with for advice and suggestions. Depending on how you feel about their approach, you can see if that sounds good or if you want to look into other options to fit your family.

At 20 months she's starting this week training. She's been telling us and going and sitting. We bought a potty, but she prefers the ring on the toilet (we had one of those too.) So much easier, and she likes to flush when she goes, so that's incentive enough. We aren't pushing it, but we are definitely encouraging it. I bought her Minnie and Sofia undies & she gets M&Ms when she really goes. And she knows those are a treat, so she really tries. We don't get upset if she potty's in her diaper, but encourage her to tell us when she has to go so we can run and go! It's all new, but she's so young I don't want to scare her off!

We tried to do the three day method but DD had a lot of accidents and just didn't seem ready so instead, we did the slow and steady method. We kept a potty seat out in the living room and asked her every 1-1.5 hours if she had to go. She still had many accidents but then one day it clicked. Keeping a pullup on her ended up being counterproductive because she sensed she could pee in it, so keeping her in just elastic knitted pants (nothing underneath) worked better. Just have many pairs of pants ready!

We did the three day method as well. We started off letting her run around in underwear but she would just keep peeing her pants so we finally just let her run naked and she had far less accidents.

We also have a very independent, stubborn little girl so letting it be her decision also provided lots of success.

Same as autumnlove , we used the three day method. Got rid of all the diapers and put her in big girl underwear. We had a lot of accidents and it took maybe two weeks before she got it. We bought the boon potty. We used reward stickers and little treats to motivate her. We ditched the diapers for naps and bedtime as well and she really only had two accidents in bed. We just made sure to get her to pee before bed. Good luck!

I waited for a three day weekend and we used the 3 day method when she was almost 27 months. She was showing signs of readiness and was very vocal and bothered by dirty diapers at the point. We let LO wear underwear and gave her lots of bottomless time at home. She had a lot of pee accidents the first day, 2 or 3 the second and none by the third. Poops took a lot longer and she saved them for her nap/night diapers for two months until she was comfortable with using the potty.

Daycare wanted her in pull-ups so I used cloth trainers and the teachers took her to the potty several times a day. LO moved to the young preschool room in May and they are ok with underwear.

We used a Baby Bjorn potty, stickers reward chart, fun underwear, Elmo potty book with sounds, Elmo Potty DvD.

Would love any tips! Not sure where to begin. LOs new daycare room is working on potty training, and I'm not sure how to translate it to home. She's almost 19 months. I guess I should buy a little potty, right?
