Normally he gets up by 730 the other day it was 630. LO used to sleep until 6, which was perfect as that's DH's wake up time and allowed him to have some nice morning time with her. This 5:00 stuff though is not so cool, although it does come after a 10 hr sleep so maybe I can't complain. I would die. Sometimes Wagon Jr. wakes up around 5:30 or 6, but we just take him to the potty then put him back down in his crib. If he doesn't fall back asleep, he'll just lie there and roll around and sing until we get him around 6:30 or 7. Lil Miss Wagon is still in a round-the-clock type mode. If she had two night feedings, sometimes the second one will be around 4 or 5am and we're pretty much up for the day at that point since we have to start getting ready for work at 6 in order to get everyone out the door by 7. My very sweet husband took him from 1-3:30, so I only really had to jump in for the last 1/2 hour. Then he slept until 7, which was nice. DD was at 5, but we let her hang out in her room until her wakeup time of 6:15. If she ever gets up earlier than 6:15 and calls for us, we go attend to her needs (usually potty) and then tell her it's not morning yet and she needs to go back to sleep. Sometimes she goes back to sleep, sometimes she hangs out in her room talking to her stuffed animals and reading books until we go get her. We try to make her last until 6:15, though, because otherwise she wants to get up at like 5 every morning! He wakes up screaming for his dad sometimes. He'll scream and thrash unconsolable for a good 15 minutes before i can find something to distract him. I can usually get him back to sleep at some point though. I was so tired I just gave him my iPhone for an hour. Parent of the year?? Finally I rallied at 4:30 am, and we played together for the next 4 hours. We had fun: we made omelets together (I let him crack the eggs and mix the omelet), cleaned together and built with blocks. When the 4 hours were up, I felt like I had just served out a prison sentence... especially since I barely got any sleep last night! When's the earliest your LO has woken up for the day in the past month? How did you survive the morning?
