We were supposed to go on an Alaskan cruise originally but our families convinced us not to go so we could plan a family cruise later on. Of course we found out we were pregnant the week before we left for Disney and the trip was terrible. Last vacay before that was our honeymoon in Costa Rica. Next vacation will be Christmas in NYC to visit the in-laws. We also do Disney and Universal weekends pretty regularly. But as for longer vacations, the last one we took was last summer (2011) to Tennessee to see the synchronized fireflies. We went with friends. We took a week long cruise the January in 2011, as well. But I got pregnant at the end of last summer and we kind of put things on hold since then. We can't go on yearly vacations right now, but I've never done that anyway- my family went every few years. It was supposed to be a vacation, we took 10 days.... but I had a migraine the ENTIRE time so it wasn't really fun for me. We knew we were gone the perfect stretch, bc we were ready to go back home when it was time to do so. Maybe that vacation you want to take is something to shoot for next summer?
