He dropped me off at 11:00 and picked me up at 15:30. Before that I'd gone for a facial a couple of weeks before (my first in forever) and he watched him for 3 hrs. He does ok with them but it's easier if he doesn't have both by himself. When I do leave the boys with him alone I make him a rough schedule the boys are on and snack/drink/meal ideas. When I got home he was literally standing in the doorway watching/waiting for me with a screaming baby. And he's actually a generally really helpful/involved dad (which I get the sense your husband is too) but he was still overwhelmed by the newborn crying! I don't know how women have multiple kids with husbands who are totally unhelpful. At least hubs has toddler care totally under control! Him and his friends are really into craft beer, so they rotate beer tastings at each other's homes. They call it beer and daddy/kids night. Last Thursday it was at our place, so I went out to get a much needed massage! They are always crying at the same time or wanting to eat at the same time." I was like....FINALLY YOU GET IT. So sometimes if I go to workout for an hour, or I run to the store alone, or if I need a haircut he'll watch them. He can feed them and keep them happy, but he doesn't do anything beyond that. But I prep all of DS' meals on a tray, pre fill all his medicine syringes, lay out his jammies and clothes, pack the daycare bags, and do the MOTN wakeups at the moment so it's sort of half prepped for him. They do really well together. </p>
