Sephora is the best! I would definitely go there. They have the best selection. MAC also has good makeup, but they, like others have said, are only one line.

Also, if you don't need 'foundation', try Bare Escentuals. It's mineral makeup and it covers so well, like regular liquid foundation.

I think a store like Ulta or Sephora will be your best bet. Any makeup counter at a department store is going to only use their one line of products on you.

I like Sephora too, because I prefer not to use everything from one line. I realize some things are made to work together, but I don't think it makes a difference if I use a lipstick from one brand and mascara from another.

If you can't get to a Sephora, I really like Lancome...they have very wearable colors.

I've had good luck with the ladies at sephora. I had them do my make up for my bridal shower. I had to buy a $50 gift card, but then I just used it to buy some of the items they used doing my makeup. It was nice because when they did it some products worked better together than others, so I got to try a whole bunch of different things, and because I wore them all at the same time, I knew they'd be good together.

I went to the Clinique counter at Macy's as a teen to get my colors done and they did it for free, but I want to go somewhere that has multiple brands since I don't like clinique'ss foundation. I usually just wear powder and occasionally eyeshadow, but since I had my baby my skin has been looking crappy and I think I need some foundation and some new colors. Any ideas on where to go?
