My bedroom set is from Thomasville and my son's room is actually my old bedroom set from when I was a child...my mom had the forethought to make sure she bought something gender neutral and timeless. It's in perfect condition.

Other than that, I have a few odds and ends pieces, but I am on the hunt for living and dining room furniture at the moment. I found a great dining set at Costco for a good price, but for couches, I am STUMPED.

Craigslist! We love Heywood Wakefield and other mid-century furniture and my husband is amazing at finding great deals there. We found LO's crib (Oeuf Classic) there too.

Our dining set is from RH, our sectional is custom, our headboard is from Crate and Barrel, our dresser/nightstands is from a great local store that sells model home furniture. The dresser and nightstands were from Bassett. All of Lo's playroom furniture is from PBK.

@chopsuey119: Oooh restoration hardware, I'm in love. My parents have some furniture from there. One of the pieces they bought, was used for a few years, there was something slightly wrong with it so RH sent a new one to their house, for free and let them keep the old piece too. Also, I once added everything I could possibly want for our house in a shopping card online from there and it came to like, $75k lol. Not even kidding.

@Mrs.Someone: I've never been into Dania but I've always been intrigued. I go into Bassett a lot but I think the quality is the same as Macy's just more expensive. Oh, and Mor furniture down the street from Dania is where we bought some cheap furniture (we spent a lot and it all fell apart within a few years).

I'm a PB whore! I decided that I was tired of my crappy furniture pre-marital self (like my coffee table and end tables were from Target- looked good but not the kind of wood that lasts forever!), and when we got our first house, we got rid of our hodge-podge crap and just made the investment in really nice furniture from there and I honestly plan on having most of it FOREVER. Like we have the whole Valencia set and I see myself laying in it when I'm 80, lol.

I did get our PB dining table on CL for WAY cheap, so check there too!!! Also got H's PBK Larkin crib/dresser and Cameron wall unit thingy on CL!

Most of our stuff is hand-me-downs. We did buy a couch at La-z-boy that has held up just so/so. Our big splurge was our Pottery Barn bed and I really really wish we had just gotten a king instead of a queen because now I want to upgrade but I love our bed frame.

Most of our stuff is hand-me-downs or bought used online. The few things we've bought new have been from The Brick or Teppermans (local furniture stores) and our next few purchases are going to be from a different local furniture store that carries Canadian bench made furniture. I can't wait to order my new dining table.

Our dresser and nightstands are Z Gallerie, bed is Joss and Main. All our guest bedroom furniture, nursery dresser and nightstand are antique pieces I've picked up from antique/flea markets, vintage shops, and Craigslist. Sofa is custom. Dining set/coffee table/China cabinet are very expensive hand me downs from DHs aunt & uncle. The rest are random pieces from Craigslist, Home Goods, Target, and Ikea. I've always been about quality pieces I like and willing to wait to get something I like and can afford vs. just filling up the place. That's why we still have an empty formal living room! Lol!

All of our furniture has been given to us or found second hand for cheap at garage sales or auctions. None of it is our style, just what we could afford and we can't afford to replace any if it yet. I'd love it if we had an Ikea closer than 8 hours away since their stuff is cheap and decent quality and I could definitely find pieces to mesh with my style.

At first our house mainly comprised of hand me down furniture that was 20+ years old. It was of poor quality, and we have been slowly replacing them with Ikea furniture (all we can afford at the moment). Ideally I would love to find great used pieces that need some TLC. I just don't have time for garage sales and estates sales anymore.

Our bedroom furniture is from Costco and has lasted 3 1/2 years so far. The living room furniture is from Ashley Home Furniture Store and everything else was given to us from our parents or others. We will gradually replace pieces as we need to. My DH's former bedroom furniture is from Direct Buy and was a present from his parents. We will use those pieces in our guest room when it is finally finished.

ETA - we bought a server for our kitchen from Bob's for extra storage because we won a $100 gift card for there. I liked Bob's prices but not the quality.

Craigslist and hand-me-downs, haha. I bought a couple of things from Amazon, but when we lived in a college town, Craigslist was the BEST place for furniture because a lot of the grad students would buy(rather, their parents would buy) brand new furniture and then need to get rid of it ASAP when they were done with school, so the prices were dirt cheap for good quality items. :)

My bedroom furniture is from Room Store, but my mom purchased it when I was in highschool, so I didn't foot the bill then. My sofa/recliner in the living room is handmedown La-z-boy from when my mother bought herself a new set and needed to get rid of her old furnityre, and I really like it. A couple of things, like my husband's office desk are hand-made from family members. :)

When we first moved in together in 2008, we bought all of our furniture from ikea, since that was all we could afford. We've been slowly replacing things with higher quality items. We just got a new couch and glider from West Elm, which I love! Our rug was bought on sale from Rugs USA, and we got nice ottomans from Overstock.

We've been looking everywhere for new furntiture. We checked out Macy's today and we'll probably buy everything we need from there. If I had a bigger budget, I would shop at Ethan Allen or Pottery Barn!

Currently our house is a mixture of cheap furniture that has only lasted a few years :(
