She did such a horrible job. She always lied to me ans say she was just trimming my hair (I always wanted it long, but never did I have one moment that my hair grew beyond my earlobes when I was a child), while she just chopped my hair off. All the time. When I was 7 or 8 she cut it so short everyone thought I was a boy. I looked horrible. She didn't bring me to a real hair salon until I was very old (ie. 15 ?) and protested. I had long hair and she'd just comb it straight while it was wet and snip off the ends. Went to her from age three until I moved away for school and then again whenever I'd be home and in need of a cut. Or sometimes she trimmed it at home. Didn't start going to salons til senior yr in hs/college. As I got older I just kept it long, and my friends and I trimmed each other's hair! Once in a blue moon I would go to an actual salon. What about you?
