It was a last minute trip (we bought plane tickets the day before the wedding) since DH wasn't sure how much time he could take off since we'd just been on a really awesome 2 week trip a couple months before. It wasn't a honeymoon, per se. We house-sat for his aunt and uncle and took care of their very old and sick cat. Our room had an open patio area that overlooked the Mediterranean. It's near historic sites and the resort had wonderful desserts and food galore. Minimoon was right after the wedding to a nearby resort town - had some spa services and relaxed for 3 days. Then 2 months after the wedding we went to Sandals Whitehouse in Jamaica for a week. It was lovely and we got to see dolphins swimming at the beach. We wanted to do a tour for our honeymoon and the one we wanted wasn't available until December, so that was our official honeymoon (4 months after wedding)--in Costa Rica. It was a GAP/Discovery adventure to 5 cities in Costa Rica and lots of adventure/activities. </p>
