The last time, I was sick! When we were planning the honeymoon, it was about 112 degrees in Texas and a warm honeymoon sounded horrible. However, I got altitude sickness in Park City. I spent day two and three of the honeymoon in bed watching Storage Wars. It was ridiculous. We did have fun at the end when I felt better, so we could finally go skiing. It was right before Thanksgiving, so we came home for three days and then drove to New Orleans for the long Thanksgiving weekend for a honeymoon re-do. That was yet another thing we liked about it. The staff at our hotels were obviously wonderful and many of the local Balinese were friendly, too. </p> <p>Flying time was: Leg 1- 4 hours to Vancouver (stayed on the plane and was there for about an 1.5 hours), Leg 2 - 12 hours Vancouver to Hong Kong, Leg 3 - 3.5-4 hours from Hong Kong to Bali. It was crazy watching the map on the last leg because we just kept flying south. There was nowhere left to go but Australia by that point. I think it was about 30 hours door to door from our apartment to the lobby of our hotel.
