Amazon was the only store that carries our chosen baby carriers, high chair, and crib mattress. The rest of the stuff on there is carried by Target but not BRU, but I didn't think it made sense to put just four big-ticket essentials on a registry that would be ignored with two brick and mortar options. That said, our wedding registries were only for brick and mortar stores, but they all have the online option too. I think our decision will depend on what we find where. If we can find what we're looking for at two real stores (which would also have online buying options), we'll go that way. If I could do it over again I would register at BBB (now open in my area but not when I was pregnant) and Amazon. Most guests want to walk into a store and physically see products and purchase. Both my sisters registered online at Diapers.com and only two or three people purchased from there.
