@snowjewelz: I do love target! Although I think the last time I bought clothes there's for myself was back in college. I do regularly buy clothes for K there though.

@youboots: @codeitall: I've heard great things about Old NAvy and Gap shirts before, but I'm not sure I bought shirts there anytime recently.

@2PeasinaPod: @looch: Ann Taylor is actually where I normally buy most of my work clothes! So we're on the same page.

Ann Taylor for work things, they have really stepped up their game and their prices aren't that bad if you can wait for a 40% off sale.

Another vote for Stitch Fix for a few outfits you can head back to work with, but for every day, I go with Gap/Old Navy. For work, I find that Ann Taylor or Loft has a nice selection of patterned things that I can wear a sweater with. We have outlet stores near us, so that helps with the cost.

@Miss Ariel: I also love stitch fix for work stuff (and they do also have some great casual tips and you can specify what you want in your fox!). I tend to shop outlets (jcrew, gap, banana) for simple tops like you described. I would see if old navy, gap or banana have anything. They usually run good sales.

I love Eddie Bauer's v-necks and crewnecks. They're good quality, soft, in lots of good colors and you can usually buy them through their outlet for pretty cheap. For slightly less boring stuff I buy cheap from Old Navy.

I'm loving the old navy boyfriend cotton Ts in tall, also the Gap tunic Ts in tall.

A lot of my clothes come from Target... I wait for sales, and I have their red card for free shipping/extra 5% off.

@sapphire: I haven't, but I've thought about it before, and this seems like a pretty good reason to try it.

Although I feel like most of what I've seen is more dressier, which would be great for actual work days, but not what I normally wear on the weekends.

Have you tried Stitch Fix? It might suit your need to not shop but have your stylist pick out some things that meet your needs. Most of the shirts I've bought in the last 6 months were from there. Beyond that, mostly Loft or Ann Taylor.

Due to unfortunate circumstances I lost my entire shirt collection, well except for two, over the summer. I haven't bothered to replace them since I was pregnant, but now that I'm not I'm tired of only having pj shirts to wear.

Dh has told me to think of this as a good thing, that I get to replace my entire wardrobe, except I don't really enjoy shopping.

I'm looking for solid or simple patterns like stripes that I can wear on weekends or casual Fridays once I go back to work. I like wearing v-necks normally but I'm up for other options.

At this point with a newborn I'd rather not leave the house and would rather buy them online.

So what's your favorite place to buy shirts?
