We have a linen closet, but it is small and always a disaster. I never thought about storing the sheets in a drawer under the bed! I think I am going to start doing that and then maybe my small linen closet will be organized.

I keep extra sheets and bedding in the closet of the room they belong in. I find it makes it easier when changing the beds.

We looked at getting a bed with drawers for storage last winter but didn’t. I think that would be great extra bedding and off season clothes storage.

We are tight on space..

We have three rooms: baby/guest room, kids’ room, and our master.

Our current sheets are under our bed (in a plastic covering- no drawers).
Our bigger blankets are in our closet.
Our guest bedding is in our closet (guests would stay in the baby room though).
The kids’ bedding is in their closets.
The baby’s bedding is in a big basket in his room (no room in the closet).

Ideally it would be better organized but again... no space!!

We put them in the linen closet. Luckily there are 4 shelves in there as we have 4 rooms with 4 different sized beds. This way it's easy to keep them separate. :)

Sheets for my bed are in a padded bench/trunk at the foot of our (king size) bed. There is a linen closet in one of my DDs' bedroom where I keep the sheets for her crib-turned-toddler bed and the queen-sized guest bed in that room. For the other two girls, off-season sheets and mattress protectors are in their bathroom linen closet (it's a jack-and-jill bathroom between their rooms); the current season sheets are in their closets. I like having everyone's sheets in a place where I wouldn't have to bother other people in the event of a need for a middle-of-the-night sheet change.

When we lived in an apartment, our (master bedroom) bed was a platform bed, with four drawers (two on each side) under the entire platform, which provided tons of space for sheets and off season clothes. It was a great storage solution!

We actually do keep our sheets (and towels) in under-the-bed drawers, and it's great! We use our linen closet for other things like suitcases.

We keep extra sheets on the top shelf of the closet in the room with the bed they go to. We have four sets for DD, three for our bed, and two for the guest room. It helps that all the beds are different sizes, so we really have to keep them in the appropriate room or we'd get them all mixed up (too many white sheets!)

We don't really have dressers but we do keep sheets for each bed in the room the bed is in. We don't have enough clothes to fill a dresser so that would be a reasonable option. In my kid's rooms they are in a cube shelf and trofast tub.

Linen closet. I like the idea of under-bed storage but I would rather keep my out of season clothes there.

Dressers? Linen closet? Bedroom closet?

I'm shopping for new beds and wondering if getting under bed storage drawers are worth it...seems like an excellent place to keep sheets. We've always kept them in dresser drawers but seems like such a waste of space!
