I have four large bolga baskets for books. Two are in my kid's room and two are in the living room, but the baskets are easy to move around and we do a lot!

We have a bookshelf in the playroom and we cycle them out when we remember to do so. I will admit we read a greater variety of books when they were in DS's room but that was before we had DS2 and now DS1 has evening chores.

We have tons of books! Both LOs have bookcases in their rooms - most of the books go here, but we also have a basket of books downstairs in the living room.

We are also clear that books are for everyone to share, so sometimes books get swapped back and forth between their rooms.

All over the house. We have books on the bottom shelf of the book case in the living room and the bottom of the coffee table, books in the toy bin in our walk in closet, in a sling-style book shelf in the play room and in milk crates in the shared bed room. Also books in the car, my purse and the diaper backpack. I'm a believer in having books accessible to my kids everywhere and often read a few to my kids during playtime or during dinner.

Everywhere. Two small boxes in the living room, two shelves in his room, three large boxes in his playroom, and 3 small books in the car.

Board books for living room, playroom, and car - all places he might be out of arms reach. Nice picture books with pages are saved for his bedroom shelves, up high where only we can reach.

Board books are kept in two Kallax cubbies. He pulls the board books out and thumbs through them all the time. Two dresser drawers hold books with pages he could rip. We have a storage bin for additional books (complete Curious George series and 4-5 board books) that are kept out of reach in the family room.

We have books in our first floor playroom, but only a handful. The rest of the books are split between my two boy's rooms. The youngest one has all of the board books, along with picture books. The oldest has picture books and chapter books. The youngest does like to 'borrow' from his brother's room, and all the books are to be shared.

I have picture/spice ledges from ikea, but the books aren't on them anymore, they're on the floor where she likes them and in a box on the floor and she just takes them out of that. I like the decorative type box because it can easily be relocated and the books are easy to take in and out for a little book lover.

Their books are in bookshelves in their bedrooms. We have PBK anywhere chairs for both of them also in their rooms, and that's where we read at night. LO1 also likes to read in there on his own at times.

They're 3 years apart, so separation of books isn't bad. Most of the board books are in LO2's room since he's 20 months, while most of the big kid books are in LO1's room since he'll be 5 in September. There are times when LO1 browses LO2's shelves and "borrorws" a book. We also keep all library books in a separate "book sack" that my MIL made LO1.

We have some in the play room and some in each of their bedrooms. We haven't gotten into reading to the baby that much yet (oops - poor 2nd child) so she only has a few in her room. The play room books are on a low shelf that both kids can reach. In DS's room some are on a higher bookcase on the wall and some are in an open part of his night stand.

She has a ton of books. She has a whole bookshelf filled in her bedroom. She has a few shelves dedicated to books in her playroom, mostly for oversized books or annoying books I don't want her to pick out at bedtime  She usually has a pile on the coffee table in the den that rotates with whatever is new or that she's particularly into at the moment.

We have a bunch of books in our playroom, tons of books in DD's room on a shelf and then the board books in the baby's room. I feel like we have so many books I don't know where to put them all. However, we always read in different rooms so it's hard to keep them all in one place.

Where do you keep your LO's books- playroom? bedroom? family room?

We have a dedicated play room on the first floor, and currently the majority of my LOs' books are on a long IKEA Expedit shelf that doubles as a TV stand, and I take library books upstairs to their bedrooms. But since we mostly read upstairs before nap/bed, books get dragged all over the house.

I do like to have our books on display, but since I like for the girls to have access to books at quiet times (generally spent in their rooms) like "nap" and bedtime, I'm thinking of purchasing some new shelves and moving them to their bedrooms. The only issue then becomes how to divide the books between them.

On a bit of a reorganization quest this week, and I'm just curious what other people do!
