We kept her in the car seat until she was about 4 months old, when she decided she hated the car seat and wanted nothing to do with it. Now we just hold her in our laps.

These days mostly the carrier bc she wont have meltdowns if i'm wearing her. I used to leave her in her infant carseat until she had 2 consecutive screaming meltdowns at target (something about that place).

My lo had reflux so she liked to be held a lot, and bounced. Even in restaurants if one person was eating, the other was standing and bouncing.

I wear her in the carrier, even in restaurants but she's only 2 months old. With DS, I think we kept him in his car seat carrier until he was 7-8 months.

We keep him in his infant car seat wherever we go unless he's fed up with the car seat. Then I'll wear him in the Ergo or just hold him. We did this with our oldest when he was a baby too. I think we used his infant car seat and car seat frame until he was about 1 and then slowly started using the stroller more and more. Gosh, haven't used our strollers in a long time b/c we don't have a double so my oldest usually walks when we go out now.

The first time I went to a restaurant, I had him in the moby. All of his seven-pound goodness. It was bliss. It was like being pregnant. At 5 mos, he is too big for that, we take turns holding him at restaurants now, or keep him in his carseat, but not often because he doesn't tolerate his carseat very well.

We've only been to a restaurant twice with our son and both times we just took turns holding him. The first time he was a month old and the second he was 2 months old. You might be able to do the moby at a restaurant if you can sit at a table with chairs, not a booth.

If you go out to eat at a restaurant or are out shopping do you just leave your tiny LO's?

Do you just keep them in the car seat/stroller the entire time?

My baby doesn't have awesome neck control yet (or she is good at sitting but tips over a lot) so when we go out I would always keep her in her car seat. However since I am working on correcting her flat head I need tips. I dont just want to keep her in the car seat!
we go out and about a lot.

The last time I wore her in my moby wrap at costco facing forward and she loved it, but I dont think I could do that at a restaurant!?
