More leg room is nice but you can't store any bags by your feet. Hmmm... I think the back of the plane is best for us with twins. Oh, the last row doesn't recline. I didn't sleep much on the plane so I didn't put my seat back at all. I do remember thinking that the days are gone when I could sleep on the plane. Though when we flew internationally we got the bulkhead seats because we got a bassinet (except LO refused to sleep in it, but we stored our junk in it and had more legroom!). I almost preferred the back. LO got to people watch as people lined up for the bathroom. Everyone made googly eyes at her and she loved it. Quick escape to the bathroom when they turned off the fasten seatbelt sign. The FA was beyond fantastic and let me stand in the galley with her sleeping in the beco when the flight was boarding until the cabin door closed (and free drinks and snacks for the flight that she always gives to parents in the back of the bus. Shout out to you, best FA ever on United EWR-->JAC) Downside was no recline and jerk face in front f us who reclined the entire (shortish) flight. Middle of the plane was ok but 360 degrees of people to potentially annoy (not that I really care). Shorter trip to the bathroom. With twins, we take longer to get off the plane so we wait til everyone is off. Our first flight, we sat in the middle of the plane and holding a baby while juggling diapers, wipes and diaper changing wipes was sorta challenging. It was so much easier on our return flight when we were in the second to last row on the plane.
