We began with Craigslist but only saw horrible apartments. I researched neighborhoods and looked up brokers who dealt with the areas that we had narrowed down. We just got so lucky with our current apartment that I'm spoiled (renter by owner, no fee, under market value when we moved in and he hasn't raised the rent in 3 years!). I generally just use craigslist, but I wonder if there are other websites that are better or have other listings. I browse Zillow too, since I like their map feature. We haven't moved in over 3 years and I'm dreading the whole process.</p> <p>Since you all convinced me that moving pre-baby makes more sense than with a newborn, it's been on my mind, although we won't actually move until the spring anyway. </p>
