This is the view from his new office. I don’t foresee us moving from there—we will eventually inherit his parents’ house in the same town, so it would be hard to uproot ourselves. </p> <p>But if I had to choose another place, I’d move to the Washington coast. We absolutely love the Forks area (even though we’re not big Twilight fans). </p> <p>If I could choose somewhere overseas, it would be Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland. I love the Alps. My family has been going to one specific lake in the Adirondacks for five generations, but we can’t decide if we’d rather it be a seasonal there or potentially a year round property on a lake where we live now in VT, since total carrying costs would be similar. With winters as we get older either somewhere more temperate, but still in the mountains, or in a condo where we don’t have to worry about shoveling snow/can get what we need delivered.
