Worked out great! At my new job, we have a mothers room but I don't have a laptop so I am hoping I can ask for one by then so I can keep working. It's across the office but I also Have a shower/changing room (but no toilet so not technically a bathroom) with a nice comfy bench in it right next to my cube that I'd be happy to use. We have at least 5 pregnant women due in spring right now so I don't want to have to deal with sharing. I may also ask my work BFF who has an office next to me if I could use hers from time to time. Will need to request a shade to be installed. It was nice when I was the only one pumping but then 3 moms came back from mat leave after a few months and scheduling was tough since we all needed to pump multiple times a day. I have no idea what the set up is at my current job. As my current job, there's a mother's room off of one of the bathrooms. It's nice that it has a lock and a sink (plus the fridge) but I feel weird going into a bathroom with my water cup and phone. She was so sweet about it but I had to ask her to leave her office each time that I needed to pump (in addition to asking coworkers to cover my patients). It made the whole thing so much more stressful! So, it's super crowded and loud and everyone knows what I'm doing. Plus it's kind of gross because it's the bathroom. Just a hard wooden chair. I don't get cell service in there. It's used for storage, so sometimes people try to walk in to get something, even though I have a sign and it's locked (everyone has a key). No fridge.</p> <p>But I work in a school and there really aren't any good options.
