Every hotel we've stayed at, already had a crib set up in our room for LO. I'm glad because I don't think we'd be able to lug around a PnP with everything else we have to take.

@regberadaisy: He currently sleeps in a crib at night, but the bassinet is pretty much regular bassinet sized (small). Our SIL and DH's brother have a 6 month old and he would have rolled and gotten out of it or at least not been very pleased in that bassinet, but he slept in the kidco peapod "tent" and slept through the night.

we just went out of town yesterday. We brought the pack and pay to use but she wasn't having it, so she just slept in bed with us.

We've used a pack and play or a crib the hotel provided. DD sleeps in a separate room from us and we bring the video monitor.

We'd all get separate rooms if we could, but DS sleeps in a basic pack and play. It is compact enough I can fit in my 28 inch suitcase and with strategic packing, doesn't go over the weight limit.

@pastemoo: what are the interior dimensions of that? We need something for our trip in 3 weeks. We had the summer infant by your side sleeper but she outgrew that and is currently sleeping in her crib.

The past two trips we took, we ended up with two queen beds instead of a king so we just put her on the other bed with a bunch of pillows around her. She doesn't move much in her sleep so we weren't worried. She actually slept better there than anywhere else so far.

She sleeps on one of th beds in the room. We'll usually put one of the mattresses on the floor and I'll sleep with her. She rolls around a lot so we don't want her falling off the bed.

@kokobee: I love it because it is lighter than our Pack n Play, easy to set up and take down, folds down pretty small and has a nice mattress. My parents hate it because they have back issues and have trouble reaching in to pick up LO since the mattress is floor level!

We have a Bjorn travel crib. Ideally, he sleeps there -- if I have complete darkness, it will usually work. But lately we've ended up cosleeping a fair amount as he gets older and way more aware of his surroundings.
