She sleeps pretty well :) Wonder Baby sleeps in a crib in our room. She also takes a morning nap in the Ergo because I can't get her to settle on her own, and often takes the second half of her afternoon nap on the nursing pillow propped up on the compute desk (but in my lap, does that make sense?) After he learned not to vault out of it, he's never tried to climb out. He actually loves it in there now and most mornings we have trouble convincing him to come out. He'll be 3 in December, but we figure, if he's not complaining we'll just leave him in the crib. We have the rail to make it a toddler bed ready. We just moved him into his "big boy room" (to move LMW into the nursery) two nights ago and he's doing great so far. LMW slept in all kinds of places (rock n play, swing, bouncy chair, crib, bassinet) until her epic 5.5 hour swing nap two weeks ago. Now she sleeps in her crib at night and most naps. Sometime between 5 and 7 AM she wakes up and doesn't go back down easily by just putting in her binky. At that point she gets moved into bed with us for the remainder of the night (we get up with her usually around 7:30-8 AM). She definitely sleeps better in bed with me, but I'm glad she can stay in her crib alone for most of the night. Last week while she was sick she spent the majority of the night with me for a couple of nights. I kept her in our room until she was just over 5 months old. I tried mover her over earlier and she wasn't ready and neither was I. They let you know when it's time. She's 4 months old and does 12 hr stretches overnight in there. She also learned to nap in a pnp at grandmas when we work, but ultimately naps and sleeps best in the crib. Her crib is in our room about 5 feet from my bed. In a few weeks she will be going to her own room and I think I have more separation anxiety than her. I am freaking out about not having her right there.... might camp out in her room for a few days (or weeks) to make sure she's ok. Well ok to make sure I'm ok......
