Play dates with HLK208 and Rainbow Sprinkles! I also joined a local chapter of the MOMS Club on meetup.com and go to a few things with them. I try to get S out of the house at least once most days. We go to the indoor play gyms at 2 different community centers. We go to story time at two different libraries. And we go to a play cafe, childrens museum, various parks, parent tot swim sessions, spray parks. We have met so many mom and baby friends. I have a group of about 7 moms that I meet up with 2-3 times a week and we joined a picnic group for the summer. We have different friends for different activities. There are so many babies and moms looking for friendship :). I think a lot probably depends on the instructor, though. I met some mom friends at the library and we try to have play dates once a week. I'm going to register her in a more physically active weekly class too. We did gymboree but had to cancel because they closed our location..... and I'm going to try to start going to some art classes with her. So we do playdates, and then we do classes during the week as well, so he sees other babies maybe 4x a week? She screams until they page us to come get her), and visiting my MIL's daycare 1-2x a week. She runs an in-home daycare and W loves playing with the kids. I *try* to get play dates with friends/babies set up as well but it's hard to find the motivation sometimes lol. We probably have one of those once every 2ish weeks? (NERVOUS! for me!! :P) i tried signing up for meetup.com during mat leave, but never worked up the nerves (or kicked my winter laziness) to ever make it to an outing. how do you get your LO socialized with other babes?
