Slept in his RNP or swing until 6 months when we sleep/crib trained. Currently we have bed risers under two legs of his crib so it's propped up at an angle. It looks pretty ridiculous but it works like a charm!

We are on Prevacid - Zantac stopped working after a month. We bought the Fisher Price Sit Me Up chair and just parked him in there after every day feed because it was hard to just hold him for 20 minutes every time. At night he slept in his crib - we just kept a pillow under one end to keep it inclined. He hated the RNP bc he doesn't like feeling confined. He did roll down to the foot of the crib by the morning but the doctor said it was fine - as long as he's inclined as he's falling asleep. We started gradually lowering the incline on the mattress over time because once he started rolling it was hard to keep him inclined. Now he sleeps on a flat mattress and keeps upright in the jumparoo during the day. DS is 5 months.

We did RNP for about 4 months, then PNP in our room. I think we elevated it from the legs, just not a ton. When he moved to his crib , we elevated with a towel under the mattress.

@winniebee: it does get better! Once we stopped diaper changing I could just pick him up, feed, and put him right back down. No spitting up because he was so relaxed. I don't think we did that until 4mo or so though.

@winniebee: Yep, and it usually woke him up (mostly from naps). Early on we started keeping him upright for 20mins after feedings, which helped a lot. It especially sucked in the middle of the night though! We haven't had to do that for a while though, and when he wakes up to eat I pretty much dreamfeed and put him right back down.

When he was younger he used to sleep on an incline in his Nuna Sena and then in the crib. Eventually the ped said to just have him lie flat because he was working his way around the crib in circles and rolling, so the incline was pointless. But she did also have us cut out any nighttime feeding. It was tough at first but we eventually got his sleep back on track.

@Mrs.Someone: did he spit up? I was told by pediatrician to have him sleep on an incline because he spits up constantly even in his sleep.

DS is almost 6mo and had always slept in the crib. Zantac didn't help him either, so we switched to Omeprazole.

R is 2m and has reflux (spit up and distress after eating). He's on Zantac but its not effective so we are seeing a GI specialist this week. Currently he sleeps in the rock n play. I can't imagine keeping him there after he learns to roll.

Where does your reflux baby sleep? Always on an incline? How old is s/he?
