If I needed to get up, I'd but him in his bouncer or onto a blanket on the couch. But we started to put him to sleep in his crib once his sleep was a little more organized at around 4-6 weeks. When we were out'n about he'd sleep anywhere. When I feel like he's really napping I try to swaddle him and put him in the PnP in our room. He doesn't usually stay there for more than an hour. I haven't really been napping when he does though I have a hard time sleeping during the day...and DH is still home.
