They sent me a brand new sleep sack in the pattern/size of my choice for free. They were fantastic! I went in there last week and it was awesome! It's a little higher priced for clothes - but here's why: in the center of the store is a good-sized play area for kids with toys and books. They also have a video game station for older kids. When you come in they offer you water, wine, tea, and beer for the dads and they give the kids animal crackers. </p> <p>The personal stylists are amazing and when I said what I was looking for, she pulled about ten outfits and put them in a room for me. She encouraged me to come out and model for her and gave me great feedback. It was amazing and I've never had a shopping experience like that before. It was totally kid-friendly and shopping never is so I was doubly pleased. I will go back sometime when I need more clothes. Their quality is great too!</p> <p>LOFT is another place I've consistently had great service. Recently an issue happened that ended up making me pay more than I should have for some stuff and when I called and spoke with a customer service rep he continually apologized profusely for the poor service I had earlier (well not poor, more like confusing) and said that his goal is to treat all LOFT clients just as how he wants his wife to be treated when she goes shopping. I ordered these sheets that are lined like notebook paper and that you can scribble on with marker for my niece for Christmas. I received a set of pillow cases. I sent an email around 1am (when I had finally opened the box) and had a response at 6am the next morning, apologizing for the mistake, assuring me they would sent out the sheets, and telling me to keep the pillowcases. That was great enough, but when I received the sheets several days later there was a hand-written note in the box apologizing for the mistake. </p> <p>I was especially blown-away because this was in early December. I've worked online retail, both in shipping and customer service, and am very well aware of how chaotic it can get. That sort of thought was just astounding.</p> <p>ETA: And Amazon. I've always had great customer service from Amazon. My MOH ordered a bunch of stuff from Amazon a few Christmases ago (less than a week before Christmas). Like $500 worth of gifts. Someone who wasn't her was on her porch and signed for it. And then took off with it. She was hysterical. The next day I received a shipping confirmation, and today I received a brand new weather shield for free. The process was straightforward and she definitely didn't make me feel like I had to justify what happened to it.</p> <p>I'm in Canada, so that is fantastic turnaround (was shipped from South Carolina!) and so I wanted to pass on the good experience!</p> <p>I think customer service counts for a lot with purchases (especially big ones) so started a thread to see if anyone else wanted to share who/where they were pleased with the customer service following purchase :) </p>
