We've been house shopping and I hated the idea of having littles and not being on the same floor as them. There is a bathroom in between DS's bedroom and ours, and the laundry is in between DD's room and ours, though it shares a wall with our master bath. I like that all the bedrooms are on the same floor. Our last house had them on separate floors and I didn't love having to run up and down stairs in the middle of the night. </p> <p>I like the layout well enough, it's good that we don't really share walls right now so we can talk or watch tv and not disturb DS. We'll see if there's any issues when DD arrives with her room next to our bathroom. Do you like the set up of where the rooms are, or do you wish it was different? </p> <p>All of our bedrooms are on the 3rd floor, and that's all that's up there, no bathrooms so that stinks. There is another bedroom on the main floor that is a playroom now but it could've been our bedroom. However, I much prefer being upstairs right next to the girls, and having the rooms away from the main living areas. </p>
