Not sure if you have an actual store nearby or if there is a counter at the department store. But I've been to parties where they do sort of a makeover and then you just buy what products you like. I find it really easy to get a natural look and when I had someone there hello me with makeup he showed me first how to do a basic look and what shortcuts I could take and then he showed me how to amp it up a little for something with slightly more impact. </p> <p>I believe that of you call ahead for an appointment it is free with a forty dollar purchase, I think sephora is 40 or 50. I have had luck with both not mentioning the cost if it is a show time and I just walk in.</p> <p>Eta- I found the people at sephora to be more into the new fun thing than a super basic look for everyday which was sort of frustrating for me. Once right before my wedding and again before my younger brother's wedding.
