They're ok.</p> <p>But since you want them for winter too, I can highly recommend REI kids hiking socks. They have toddler sizes and have grippers and they are cozy and warm....and they don't come off! Everywhere that I've looked for socks in his size don't have the grippers on the bottom. Can you let me know where you find these? </p>
