The wait wasn't nearly as long as they had projected for us.... we went off to do something else, only to have them call us 20 min. later! When we tried to go last year, we got there at 5:30 and the wait was 3 hours for a table for 2.</p> <p>We walked down to the East Village and ate at Minca instead. It was delicious! I would get there as early as possible to shorten the wait though! I like the Akamaru Modern.</p> <p>Less well known to tourists is Jin Ramen, near Columbia University.
