Charleston is a wonderful city. I live in New Orleans, and it's a fabulous long weekend place. However, not sure if I do it pregnant. So much of the fun of it is the food and cocktail scene. Charleston is similar but less so. Even if January, Kiawah Island outside Charleston is an incredibly beautiful resort. MIL has graciously volunteered to take LO for the weekend so it will be just me and DH. I'll be about 25 weeks pregnant.</p> <p>We'll be flying out of either Boston or Providence and right now my only criteria are that we don't have too much travel time (maybe a 4 hr flight max) and that it be at least a little warmer than Boston. Any suggestions? Right now, our main contender is New Orleans, but I'd like to come up with some other ideas. </p>
