ETA: Oh, and I met one of my best guy friends there! We had the agreement that if neither of us were married by 30, we'd marry each other! I went home after that first shift feeling so sick from all of the grease and pretzel stench, I refused to go back. A couple of weeks later, I was working at a collectibles store which I consider a perfect first position. This is way back when minimum wage was $4.25/hr.
