Then I called him at like 955 and said he needed to get home ASAP. He was home just after 10. :) Things went quick for me. I was in denial and didn't want him to waste a day off if it wasn't real labour yet; by the time I decided this was real, he'd already arrived at work and had to have someone drive him the 45 minutes back. I'd had a few short bouts of contractions before so he was like, well.... what if this isn't the real thing? And doesn't it usually take a long time anyway? I was like, um, yeah, but I'd kind of rather you be here with me while I'm in labor, even if I don't have the baby until after you would have been home! I still give him crap about it. </p>
