(Thank goodness, lol). </p> <p>Gramercy Tavern is nice, but a little too bustling for me for an anniversary dinner. </p> <p>Degustation is a really cool experience--only like 16 seats, and they're all around the kitchen, which is open air/open concept. The chef himself serves you each dish, and it's like a 7 course tasting menu I think? I highly, highly recommend ABC Kitchen for awesome seasonal fare (and a celebrity spotting or two if you're interested in that). Lambs Club, one of Geoffrey Z's, restaurants was ok. The meal was wonderful (several course pre fixe) without being over the top filling and it's definitely a unique spot (farm to table). We liked Gramercy Tavern - DH had a good pork chop there...I didn't find it so romantic, but we were there with a couple so that could be why! I also once did a special dinner at Picholine, which was amazing, but it was years ago and i have no idea if the quality has remained.
