The dr trip was amazing! All we did was eat sleep and relax by the pool or beach. (We were w D's coworkers for the Miami trip so that was different fun).</p> <p>We're planning on Vegas next winter for our first trip without both! I'd want to maximize the amount of child free relaxation time and not spend that precious time on layovers in airports or driving for hours after a plane ride to get to your hotel. We've done that a few times in Mexico and also in Antigua on our honeymoon. Its so much less stressful. And you can find small, boutique type all inclusives. For example, a small town in Italy where you have to drive hours to get to. It can be very charming when you wake up to the sounds of church bells and then go and stroll around casually, or pack a picnic with bread, cheese and wine. Or even Paris would be nice without kids constantly nagging.</p> <p>I just thought you can go with kids to a beach vacation easily so I would just save beach for another time. But that's just me :)</p> <p>ETA: Oh. Actually go to Malta.
