DH and I will sing "it's the end of the world as we know it..." whenever E has a lay-on-the-ground crying fit. Doesn't bother me at all. </p> <p>I guess the main two are the car seat (although he chills after a minute or two) and the fact that we have to hide all the screens. We aren't stingy with screen time, but if he had his way, he'd carry my iPad around 24 hours a day. And if he sees it and we put it up....guaranteed meltdown. Throwing food when she's done with it. Actually what she does is swipe her hands across the table/high chair and sends food everywhere. Drives me insane. Then the dogs fight over the pieces which makes it worse.<br /> 2. Refusing to sit in car seat. Thankfully it's rare, but she's strong and will stand up straight and lock her legs and scream when she isn't in the mood to be strapped in.<br /> 3. She things it's hilarious to splash-a lot- in the tub. She can soak our entire bathroom. </p> <p>Doesn't bother me: tantrums. So many things hard to narrow it down to 3 lol:</p> <p>1. Throwing food deliberately (used to drive me INSANE, thank God he no longer do it much)<br /> 2. Fighting bedtime for at least an hour, and summon me back into his room repeatedly, EVERY NIGHT. It doesn't matter if I put him to bed at 7 or if I put him to bed at 10. He would fight/play/talk/whine/cry/request miscellaneous things/get in and out of bed an hour before he sleeps.<br /> 3. Doesn't listen/do the thing that was requested (eg. clean up his toys, or put on his pants + wash his hands after using the potty) when I repeatedly request the same thing for the past 10 minutes.</p> <p>Things that doesn't bother me:<br /> - Nightly wake-ups for up to 2 times. (I go insane at the 3rd but thankfully he seldom woke more than 2 times a night. THE CLIMBING. We are destined for an ER visit in the near future. DD climbs EVERYTHING and lives in a world of time outs in between climbing things.</p> <p>2.) Thinks it's funny to run off, especially in parking lots. She doesn't always want to hold our hands, so I always have my hand on her, but she is mega super fast, and she will tear off and leave giggles in her dust and we really have to work to grab her fast. So like PP, I end up carrying her screaming and explaining that if she doesn't want to hold my hand, then she gets carried.</p> <p>3.) Biting bc she's pissed off. Unfortunately, she got my temper, and for example - when she's already agitated with me for something, and then I force her to hold my hand in the Target parking lot, she will bite my hand. I am really still struggling with how to handle it because there's not a lot of places to put her in Time Out in the Target parking lot or similar public places. </p> <p>Oh and I have a #4) When she has the audacity to be picky about what movie she wants to watch on the iPad in the car. She will throw a fit, but not always tell us which one she wants to watch, and I usually end up playing something and letting her fuss about it for a few minutes.
