Thanks, ladies! The difference between the two cleansers was hard to see in the product listing but now I can see the bottles have different product names. @tinyperson: good tip on the generic - I'm all about that! :)

I use the Cetaphil gentle facial cleanser on myself all year round - hadn't thought of using it for LO (but hers is really mild and fragrance-free and doesn't bother her).

ETA: there's usually a store brand version on the shelf beside the Cetaphil that has the same ingredient list. I buy that one if I can!

@autumnlove: oh I am gonna try this - my kids have horribly dry skin in the winter!

We use the same as @autumnlove: for LO per the ped's recommendation. It's creamy looking and doesn't lather, but it keeps her skin from getting scaly. We also only bathe her every 2-3 days unless she gets dirty.

I use the Daily Facial Cleanser on my face per my dermatologist's recommendation - it's not very moisturizing, but gentle.

ETA - We also use the moisturizing cream for lotion.

We use the gentle cleanser on LO 2. It doesn't lather.

At my 9 month old's well baby check-up today, her pediatrician suggested bathing her in Cetaphil for the winter months since she has a bit of mild eczema on her back.

I'm not familiar with Cetaphil and didn't realize how many product choices there would be until I got home and tried to order some - eek! Anyone else wash their baby with Cetaphil and know what I'm supposed to be using? Is it just the facial cleanser, or is there some sort of body wash product?

(I'm shopping online at Target since I need to put in an order anyway, but can buy it from Amazon/a drug store in the 'hood if I need something more specific)
