I use Ovia, and I like it. When I tell it I've had EWCM, it asks me if i want to adjust my dates, and then it always matches up with my temperature rise, so it's pretty easy to use.

I only track cm and use both kindara and ovia. I was using kindara when I got pregnant last time; I really like their chart but ovia is prettier. So I basically use ovia to track other things and rely more on kindara for the actual charting.

@nana87: You're right, ovia used my chemical as a "cycle" too. I had forgotten about that. Yeah, I'd switch to FF or one of the other ones in your case. Btw, I agree with sweetiepie, worth trying opks for one cycle just to see.

@SweetiePie: ooh interesting, I like the idea of just trying opks for one month, just to see if it changes things!

@catlady: my cycles are actually pretty regular, but Ovia is thrown off I think from my chemical even though I put it in as a miscarriage, since that was a longer "cycle." I had stopped using ff bc Ovia is prettier and easier to use, but then went back and put in a few recent cycles since the cp, so that's I think part of why they're so different.of course the windows aren't exact without opks but I've gotten pregnant twice without them and just having a rough estimate

@peaches1038: ooh I'll look into those!

I used clue and glow. Both great for different reasons and were usually pretty in sync

I've used both and preferred Ovia (just a nicer interface) but if you have irregular cycles, you need to understand that they use averages for when they predict you will O, and also if you don't give them opk data, they will assume a 14 day luteal. So they can easily be wrong, even if you use them for a long time and they "learn" from your data.

My cycles are super irregular with an 11 day luteal and I used them to track my cycles but not to predict fertile days. I always used opks for that.

I am currently pregnant with a baby conceived on a day where ovia thought my fertility score was 1 (i.e. no possible way to get pregnant that day).

@nana87: I used FF and had success with it. But I do think that it "learns" as you go. So even doing one cycle with OPKs and putting in those results, maybe it'll help it become smarter and give a more accurate window in following cycles. (And hopefully that's NOT the case because you get pregnant soon and there aren't more cycles! :-) )
Hope this makes sense. I found that after putting in OPK results it adjusted all subsequent Windows accordingly.

@snowjewelz: ugh yeah I think after this cycle I'm going to start using opks... I'm a little traumatized about poas so much during our chemical, but I think it's better than just guessing about ovulation....

@Ash: ooh I hadn't heard of that one, thanks!

I've used both, but yea if you're not tracking anything else, it's hard for the app to have anything to go off on. I'm super type A too, and temping was still too much variable for me so I loved using OPKs to actually know.

I know we've had this question before, but I'd love to hear your opinions again!

Ovia and FF are giving me totally different "fertile window" dates, and I don't know which to believe! I actually only track my period and sex--no temps, cm, opks, etc--because I'm totally type-A and I'm afraid I'd just go nuts with it, but the differences are making my head spin...!

Adding screenshots since they're so different!
