I think it would have worked well for us if DD was a more textbook sleeper. In retrospect, I can't help but wonder what the hell I was thinking! When LO was about two weeks old my step-mother bought me "What to Expect the First Year" and I think it's pretty good. I was initially kind of skeptical since everyone steered me away from "What to Expect When You're Expecting," which is by the same authors.
