We also have a Combi Coccoro that he's outgrown but we'll use for the next one. In DHs car we bought a Graco-in-1 - similar to the Graco forever but without backless booster mode. We knew we wanted to extended RF, and my kids are on the bigger side but I drove a sedan at the time. Our finalists were the Diono, the Nextfit and the Foonf. I didn't want to fuss with an angle adjuster, and the Foonf took up less room front-to-back than the Nextfit. Plus it was the only one DD didn't fuss and squirm in when we tried them. She loves it and is happily RF at almost 3. I got it because it has one of the highest RF limit on the market and I knew I wanted to extended RF. Cost was also a factor for us. We needed to buy two seats and could manage that with the Graco seats. It would have been difficult for us to drop 600-800 on carseats at once. We've really loved this seat. I wanted a Clek because I liked the fabric and the fact that they are high up, and we chose the Fllo because it was less expensive and more lightweight, plus a tiny bit shorter (we have a Honda Fit). We got the pink one and I love it.
