Our daycare/preschool for the girls is like a 3 min drive so for me even a 10 min drive is "far"! I totally understand. And I guess if you really have no issue with the daycare that you think is causing the high turnover... I don't think I'd care that much as long as my kids gets the same teacher in one class. Our school being closed to home is super important to us as me, DH and my mom all take turns picking up/dropping off. Plus I live in the NE and in winter time I just don't want anyone to drive far if there's no need. We are moving her for preschool but only because she is currently going near to my work which is 40 minutes from our house. I would definitely not move her if it were the opposite. One preschool is closer to home/work, offers breakfast, lunch, and snacks, and my daughter is currently in the infant class and loves it, but there's a high turnover rate (not in her current infant class though). </p> <p>The other preschool, which doesn't have a infant class is farther away and takes a while to get there because of traffic and there's only one way/road to get there, only offers snacks, and has a low turnover rate, i love all the teachers there, my older LO went to this preschool.</p> <p>On one hand, with all these natural disasters happening around the world, i would like my kids to be closer to me. And being able to save time packing lunch and making breakfast in the morning would be great. But I'm not a fan of the turnover rate in the preschool classes. </p> <p>Which one would you choose? </p>
